Intelligently designed to provide shelter from the tropical rains, this innovative bench adapts its degree of covering to enhance comfort in changing weather conditions. The tent-like structure opens and closes in alignment with the wind and rain patterns, shielding users from the sudden onset of rain in a safe, dry haven. The practical, responsive design offers protection while enriching the urban landscape with elements of climate responsive adaptability.
The tent-like bench is designed to open in fair weather and close by degrees to provide shelter from wind and rain. The automated system, driven by a motor, responds to a weather sensor to ensure the necessary shelter.
